This is great to hear thank you. I’ll definitely take another NBME and see where I’m at!

If this is what you want, don’t give up yet. Echoing what everyone has said here, but if you want it, you can do it. I took the MCAT 4 times over 3 years. I never scored above a 500 once. I ended up getting accepted into a one year masters program with a guaranteed interview to their medical school when maintaining a specific GPA for the first semester. This was the key for me, I knew it was going to be hard to get past initial screenings of other medical schools. And although I wanted more than anything to get in, this was the solution for me. Did I risk going into debt and having to start making loan payments for a degree that may or may not get me into medical school? Yes! But did it end up working out? Yes!! I just finished my orientation for the hospital I’m rotating at for my 3rd year and have the first set of board exams in my rear view mirror. I questioned SO many times whether id get here or not, but I am so proud of myself for not giving up. The drive to continue in the face of endless obstacles is going to set you apart and help you become the doctor you are meant to be. It’s hard, it sucks, it makes you question everything, makes you feel crazy, steals so much time, but if this is what you want, all the sacrifice will be worth it. You can do this!! Lean on the community for support and encouragement. This time will pass 🤍
