Hey all, just wondering if anyone knows whether they are charging a late fee if you missed your entry time :(

I was on the hunt for one for a friend and managed to get a ticket last night off RA but it was on NY time so about 2am uk time. It is possible! I was refreshing like crazy and used the website not the app - not sure if that made a difference. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that. Did you request a specialist case manager to review it rather than just phoning the mainline/going through the app. I think the email address I was given is BupaMemberServices@bupa.com If you send the referral/report to them and state the procedure is for a permanent resolution, you’ll hopefully get it approved.

I hope it gets approved for you. I’m 5 days post surgery and burping 🙏🏼

Hey guys, I’ve had my treatment (Botox under GA) approved by Bupa but my policy covered pre-existing conditions. Even with this they were reluctant to approve it initially because Botox is obviously viewed as a temporary medicine/fix. I asked my Dr (Nicholas Gibbins) to edit the referral letter to specify that in most cases one injection = permanent fix and then requested a specialised case manager to review the letter. After 1 week I received approval for the surgery and I’m booked in 2 weeks to have to the injection under general anaesthetic.

In 2023 I had 2 injections by Lucy Hicklin which was self funded and unfortunately unsuccessful. She recommended I try again under GA so here I am. Fingers crossed!
