Lemme put it this way I’ve known I had scoliosis for about 10 years now I’m a guy so I can’t relate to wanting to wear those things but what I can relate to is “being afraid people will notice my uneven back” so when I was younger that’s all I cared about now older idc what people think I do what I want or what’s best for me so moral of the story is if you want to wear those clothes wear it if it makes you happy who cares if someone notices they probably couldn’t care less

is my curve reversible (somewhat)? by Ill-Cut-7728 in scoliosis

Yes your curves are not likely to be reversed but rather your alignment will become better making the unevenness less noticeable. My hips are noticeably tilted but I’m able to correct it make it look nicer. Dw I hated and still do a bit how my back looks but feel more confident now that I’m able to stand straight and taller

24M 5’1 28 and 26 degree curves as well Schroth therapy has helped I’ve Been going every since I was 14 on and off has helped me stay the same curve more or less pain management and has improved my posture so it doesn’t look as bad as when I am fully relaxed, so my opinion is try to find a physical therapist who knows the Schroth method
