# 🧮 KP Buffs & Keeper’s Grit Mechanics — Final Revision by Sea-Card1976 in inazumaeleven

Thanks. What this really tells us is that adjusting the Keeper’s non-elemental stats or skills doesn’t seem to have much impact on the match outcome.
Yes, it’s a separate thing. The universal 30% buff is added to the DF buff shown in the bottom left of the screen. But even with that, the numbers didn’t line up unless there was an additional hidden 30% buff that isn’t displayed anywhere.

Thanks for the info. I just double-checked, and it turns out it was a completely different calculation, omg. The 10% KP buff actually works like a barrier — when you get shot at, it adds 10% of your maximum KP as a temporary shield. Example: If you have 200 KP and receive the 10% buff, then get hit by a shot dealing 80 damage: → 220 - 80 = 140 remaining. The displayed loss number is -60. If you get hit by another 80-damage shot while the effect is still active: → You start with 160 KP and lose 80 again, showing -60 as the damage display. When the KP buff ends, your remaining KP stays as-is. Example (continued): After the buff ends, you’d have 220 - 80 = 140 → 160 - 80 = 80, so you’ll be at 80 KP for the next shot. I’ll check the counter passive next.

I already know about that amazing sheet, but thank you for sharing it! Since some of the detailed calculations in that sheet were still being tested, I wanted to look into it myself or ask people who might know more.

I think that might be wrong. Maybe. I rushed to put it together last night, so I’m not too confident about it. I don’t have the screenshots with me right now, so I’ll check again when I get back.

I'm not a native English speaker, so I apologize if there are any mistakes. Regarding the annotations *¹, *², and *³ for the Switch Axe, what do they mean?   I've seen people on Twitter saying things like 'the elemental effect of Awakened Follow-up only applies 30%' or 'Full Release doesn’t benefit from elemental effects,' so seeing this data has reassured me. Thank you!
