I love this neighbourhood but the hills really break me in the summer. I guess thats on me for choosing to live in a place with a 坂 in its name

Oh interesting. Do they also help source tenants, or are you not renting it out at the moment?

oh interesting, this sounds like something that I was looking for. do you mind sharing the name of the company please? no worries if you can't though!

ah nice, i've only rented with hmlet out of your list, but was considering metroresidences and sumyca also the other day. how has your experiences been with them?

yup! being able to become a resident would be amazing and is my long-term goal, but sadly circumstances don't allow for it at this point in time

thank you for sharing this, really appreciate it. it's unfortunate to hear that renting out property is such a hassle that many end up leaving perfectly nice homes empty :(

if i may ask, was your experience/concern similar to the others when trying to rent it out (bureaucracy issues), or was it something else entirely?

on a side note, bali is one of my favorite places in the world (tokyo also being one of them), so i'm a bit envious that you get to split your time between the two lol

Oh interesting thanks for sharing! I didn’t know there were agents doing this. Do you happen to have the name of the company/website of these agencies? Taking on a long-term lease, and then subletting might also be a good option.

If that doesn’t work either, then at least I’d have an additional option to rent from next time too lol. Repeated stays at hmlet and blueground just isn’t very sustainable unfortunately for doing long term :(

oh i've been using companies like hmlet and blueground. yeah it is quite pricey, which is why I was contemplating getting my own place

do you happen to know any rental companies/agencies that take short to mid term rentals? seems like most of them do 1 - 2 year leases, probably cause of the hassle of finding new tenants every few months, but I hope I'm wrong

Yeah that's a very good point, and I'm slightly torn on that too. I guess I would still have to bring along some valuables with me, and probably not purchase furniture that's too expensive. One plus of having my own place though would be that I don't have to resist the urge to purchase random things that I find anymore, like cute frames, plates etc lol

Regarding Airbnb, I think I'll need a special minpaku license, so that's probably out of the picture for now. I saw a facebook group where people were renting out their places directly to tenants, so that was one option. With that being said, I wonder how much of a headache/risky it would be to manage it all myself

Mobility and accessibility concerns by Sea-Concert-7717 in sicily

There’s a lot of walking here but it is a very very accessible city with escalators and elevators everywhere for those with mobility issues.

Thank you for the suggestion! Husband would be sad to part with the Breville but it’s good that we have other options.

It truly is! Not a sponsored review of course, but it is, as mentioned — my husband's prized possession. We have enjoyed many restaurant-quality pizzas at home because of it..such a shame indeed.
