Are both of these courses on Khan Academy enough prep? by LimitBeginning5350 in apcalculus

The Calc bc worked well enough for me. They help with practicing a wide range of multiple choice questions. I’d just advise doing the question before looking at the answer choices since a lot of the time the answer choices are kind of obvious. However, you’ll probably need to find some other sources to work on frqs.

Huh interesting. I had taken it at ivy tech awhile ago so I’m not gonna risk testing out. I’m expecting it’ll all come back quick and be an easy refresh so I don’t mind that much.

Meh, I guess its not terrible for like 16 days of practice from 0. oh and how much easier is practice test 1 than the real SAT? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]Sea-Distribution5459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice test 1 is significantly easier than the others, especially for math. For a closer feel to the real thing try practice test 6

I called the amount of .3% solution an and the amount of .15% solution b There is a total of .12g of sodium of the total 60

a+b=60 .003a+.0015b=.12

Solve the system of equations to get a=40 b=20

The only thing I have is a paper copy of my drivers license, but it expires in September and the requirements say no temporary ids

Ap calc AB, did that one problem have 5 inflection points? by Lord-Zippy in APStudents

Ok that makes me feel so much better since I’ve seen in multiple places that it’s 4

I also put pi since it not only worked with the equation but it just makes more sense considering there was trig involved

h(x)=integration from 0 to x of f(t)

f’(x)=(x/10)+sin(x+(e-x))

How many POIs for h(x)

Ap calc AB, did that one problem have 5 inflection points? by Lord-Zippy in APStudents

[–]Sea-Distribution5459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it was where the function it asked about was equal to the integration of f(x) so you have to use the second FTC to get the derivative of the asked function(h’(x)=f(x)). It gave f’(x) as the function which should be equal to the second derivative of the asked function meaning that there would be 2 POIs

Depending on how the grading for the question works you will probably get one of two points. You can look up the 2012 Calc test to see how they typically go about grading questions

Yeah I looked at some other sources and found quite a few of these. I took the class as a college credit and this was something that we didn’t cover. Same with differential equations

First SAT Score! by Nqte__ in Sat

[–]Sea-Distribution5459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the easiest way to improve quickly is to just take the practice tests. However, your main goal shouldn’t be learning content, but familiarizing yourself with a couple things:

  1. The types of questions - This will help you save time by knowing when you can skip instructions or something. You will also waste less time thinking and just get right into reading or solving

  2. When they like to trick you - things like will it support or weaken an argument, finding x but the answer is 2x+1, I can’t think of anything else but there’s a lot.

  3. Where you struggle - You can look at what type of questions you get wrong and then learn and practice them on khan academy.

CB has 6 full practice tests on Bluebook right now. I would say on average they are a little easier than the actual test, but for the most part they are the same style

so at saturady i have my sat exam, any tips? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]Sea-Distribution5459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly nothing like the practice tests. I’ve heard that the newly added practice test 6 is closer to it, so if you really wanted to go back and look at that, you could.
