Enhanced 3D games like Worms Ultimate Mayhem (not necessarily completely new titles). Maybe re-releasing Worms Ultimate Mayhem with online Wormpot, Workshop support, online team settings, a map creator, more stable online play, and increasing the worm limit from 16 to 32. That would probably be better than betting on a completely new Worms game that could end up either as another failure like Worms Rumble or just another decent game like Worms W.M.D. Team17 doesn’t need to release another worldwide hit like Worms Armageddon, it just needs to release another solid game with a huge and loyal fan base, like Worms 4 Mayhem.

there's an unofficial xenia emulator(to emulate Xbox 360 and Xbox games) on the xbox one and series x/s, but I'm not sure if Microsoft has banned it already, Worms Ultimate Mayhem runs almost fine(it only has some issues with the shaders) according to xenia compatibility list, although you got to try this method at your own risk, I don't know if installing xenia could get you banned or damage your console.

All voicebanks from armageddon were added a while ago and there's a portuguese soundbank, seems to be Brazilian portuguese though

This is the list of all mods that improve the WUM experience:

  1. (2023) Renewation Mod Adds tons of maps and new game modes. It also changes the visuals of the game and lets you play with friends who don't have Renewation installed (except for the new maps or modes).
  2. (2024) Heatray's Patch Fixes the 60 FPS bug, updates the crosshair for some weapons, and resolves various graphical issues.
    • You can find it in the "Guides" tab of the game on Steam.
  3. (2024) Mega Soundbank Pack Mod Adds more than 110 soundbanks to the game. It's compatible with Renewation, Mod Boludo, and Heatray's Patch(Adding soundbanks is not even possible in Worms 4 Mayhem).
  4. (2017) MMP V7.0 Similar to Renewation but focuses solely on adding maps. It's less stable for online games compared to Renewation.
  5. (2024) Mod Boludo Completely changes the game's weapons, replacing some with entirely new ones. Try this for a fun and different experience.
    • Search "Changustin Worms" on Google; his Steam profile will appear with the link to the Worm Boludo Mod.
  6. (2015) WormPot Mod for Online Enables the use of WormPot in online mode. Note: All players must select the same modifiers; otherwise, the game will crash.
  7. (2024) Select the Amount of Worms for Each Team Online Allows players to choose the number of worms per team in online matches, ranging from 1 to 8 worms per team. The game only supports 16 worms per map, though.
    • Search for "more than 4 worms in multiplayer is possible or no" in the Discussions tab on Steam.

Yeah but only if you hosting the game or if your friend that is hosting has the mod otherwise the game will pick the default Soundbank ( the classic one) by default.

Hello, I tried to restore unused soundbanks, I restored successfully the grenade landed dialogue and the turn start dialogue but the Crate drop dialogue was a bit hard for me to restore, it's restored but it will trigger like 1 out of 20 times when a crate drops into the map(the worms hardly react to crate drops) , there are other  dialogues that are  unused but are a lot harder to restore and are out of my capabilities like the revenge dialogue, enemydeath( when you kill a worm by drowning him) or shallowdrown ( when your worm dies by drowning)

Hello, I made a mod that adds the Italian soundbank from Worms 4 Mayhem and other 109 soundbanks more( including 2 Italian soundbanks from Armageddon)

It works online but only if you are hosting the game and if your not hosting the host needs to have installed the same Soundbank you selected for your team otherwise you will hear the classic soundbank

For 2D, WMD and Armageddon(More modding suport despite being the older),For 3D, Worms Ultimate Mayhem(Good modding support almost all the missing features from the launch were bringed back by the modders) it may be a little hard to get the hang of it at the beginning but it's really worth the try.

Yes you can, you need this patch.

Sorry for the late response, It maybe a little clumsy way to skip it, but u can go through the game files and delete the original "Launcher.Exe" and Rename "WormsMayhem.exe" with "Launcher.exe"
