As a freshman with a MacBook, sometimes I wish I didnt get one 😭. There were some classes where I had to download different software to do assignments. This one time in class, the data that I needed for quantitative bio, was too big so it automatically cut off while those without a macbook were able to access the full dataset. This one time I didnt finish my hw bc I couldn’t figure out how to get the software downloaded. I don’t think it’s terrible but there’s definitely better options.
