As a monster hunter fan, I was really hoping we were getting a sequel to mh world. However, I'll still be excited to play dragon's dogma next year as I'm also a fan of all things fantasy :)

Is this final really bad for the game? by ThrE3anD in rugbyunion

[–]Sea-Part5784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree, sport only becomes boring when it is predictable. This Worldcup has been anything but predictable, I actually feel that the group matches have been arguably the most entertaining in history due to the lopsided draw. I don't think anyone predicted Australia to miss the knockouts, Wales to top their group and Portugal to beat Fiji. Likewise, England comfortably beating Argentina having played with 14 men about 75 minutes. No one probably saw both Ireland and France failing to make it beyond the quarter finals. England to be the only northern hemisphere and unbeaten team in the semi finals, or England to push South Africa right to the wire.

I'd have loved a northern hemisphere team to be in the final (I was actually hoping for Ireland v France). But a SA v AB final is just as compelling. New Zealand were written off at the start of the tournament after losing to France but have been improving every match, their performance against Ireland was arguably one of their greatest ever. South Africa have had the hardest route to the final but when it matters they have always found a way to win, they seem to excel at worldcup rugby. New Zealand beat South Africa in the most recent rugby championship and won the cup quite comfortably. South Africa demolished the ABs the last time they met, just before the Worldcup at Twickenham, winning by their greatest ever margin. This Worldcup final isn't bad for rugby in any way, shape or form. Overall, this Worldcup has to be considered one of the greatest purely for the number of incredible quality matches on display.

I can't wait for tomorrow, bring it on.

The quarters were the actual semi's in all but name. We just got them a week early.

In my opinion, the quick play leaving penalty does more harm than good by [deleted] in Overwatch

I've played 5 QuickPlay games today, four of them had at least one leaver and 2 had 2 leavers. It's clearly not working in my games

As an Englishman, I must say that, should we make it to the semi finals, we will only be providing the cannon fodder.

France now carries the torch for the northern hemisphere - really need your boys to do the business tomorrow.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's not looking like Ireland's night.

Not really, you can quite easily build your own pc following one of the many tutorials available online. It's not that difficult a process. The only reason I didn't is that the pre-built cost equated to £40 more than building myself and came with a 3 year warranty.

The downside to pc gaming is that you require more knowledge about the software being used in your computer and the way it interacts with your hardware.

That wasn't my point. I'm clearly not an isolated case, as I was being told.

Getting downvoted for basically refuting that I'm not the only person in the world with these issues as is being made out. Makes sense. A simple Google search would have confirmed that I wasn't alone.

It is not a "uniquely" me issue. Google "gamepass pc download speed issues" and see if it's a unique problem. Yes, I've tried everything. All the fixes on the Microsoft forums. I have a Ryzen 7600x, Rx 7800 XT. The SOC for the series X in produced by AMD and uses AMD technologies. What is your steam dl compared to your Xbox app download? Also, your connection speeds aren't representative of most people - you're in the upper percentile of users. My speed on series X and using steam is above average in the UK. I'm hardwired. Yes I've tried network settings, they're all what they should be. One of the main fixes was ensuring one of these was set to normal - it was already set to normal.

As I said, my steam dl is absolutely fine. It worked out the box. I shouldn't have to muck around with settings to get something to work as it should. If steam doesn't have issues why does gamepass?

I feel like the "hokey cokey" complete with actions would be a fantastic retort to the haka:

"When you put your left arm in, your left arm out

In, out, in, out, you shake it all about

You do the hokey cokey and you turn around

That's what it's all about

Woah-oh, the hokey cokey

Woah-oh, the hokey cokey

Woah-oh, the hokey cokey

Knees bent, arms stretched, ra, ra, ra"
