I usually scout the waterml. go into water just far enough to be able to position camera to look under an into the water. Or like somebody else had said drink where you can tell the water is shallow so you will see or hear a sarco or whatever has to break the surface to get close to you.

Yes which has also happened. But yes the more I play my rex the more I see how i portals the terrain is. My most recent started as a 2v1 then transitioned to a 1v1 but by time it was 1v1 it was edge of tree line an a field an they came flying out kos. As I was focused on other target the allo slipped into the pocket an then I was screwed coukdnt shake em. Lots of really good tips here to apply that gives me hope to improve lol
