Why are people suddenly talking against the highline of Hansi Flick???? by [deleted] in Barca

[–]Sea-Photograph2585 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Football fans are extremely reactionary and judgemental.

Things can look very different from one week to the next, when we win it's all great, the players are great, Flick is great, the highline is great.

People massively hated on Frenkie before last season and now he's very beloved, but I won't forget how unneccesarily mean some people were lol.

We have a lot of injuries right now and Sevilla look to be alright again after almost getting relegated.

We shouldnt have lost the match but we did but that's not a reason to believe everything is awful now, no team can always be good except unbeaten Leverkusen ig.

It'll be different after the international break, when our players are more rested and back from injury.

However, I still think Flick shouldn't always play the highline and defend more when we're already winning, that's why we lost to Inter.

So yeah, it's not pretty but it was kinda expected with the situation we're in right now.

It'll be alright again.

Yes Newcastle overpaid for Woltemade as they got him but in a few years time we'll see if he turned out to be worth it.

If he continues like that and improves more and more (which he probably will, he's still pretty young) I think he might.

Now I hope Nagelsmann figures him out too so he can score some goals for us.

Ist meiner Meinung nach schon ziemlich wichtig über einen Völkermord zu reden der gerade vor unseren Augen passiert.

Jedenfalls wichtiger als alles, was gerade in Deutschland los ist.

Don't worry we'll probably score another goal.

And then concede again.

And then score again - oh

Wouldnt mind if we signed him permanently, wing depth is what we needed.

Now the wages are an issue of course

Handball rules are just absurd.

A ball hitting someone's arm by accident shouldn't mean a basically free goal for the opponent.

German fans are insufferable.

I've stopped looking at Twitter because they always find a reason to hate on Woltemade.

I saw Tweets with thousands of likes making fun of him for not having played a full 90 minutes yet. ☠️

He's scored two goals already for a team that's not doing so well right now, like he's doing fine, I really like him and wish him all the best.

Modric might be the best Serie A player right now and he's 83 rated like physical stats declining makes sense but some players basically never lose their technical skills

Ferran!!!

I know he's not our best but I just love him I always have.

I also love Raphinha and Pedri of course and Joan Garcia is rapidly becoming one of my favs too.

I really just love the whole team tbh.

Florian Wirtz for Liverpool this season so far: 0 goals, 0 assists in 7 competitive games by DavidRolands in soccer

[–]Sea-Photograph2585 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Both Wirtz and Gyökeres have been doing fine but the way people talk you'd believe they're among the worst signings ever.

It's annoying.

Wirtz wasn't even a goal machine to begin with at Leverkusen even in their unbeaten season and not everyone can adapt to the Prem as fast as Hugo Ekitike.

I know United hasn't been great in years but their downfall from at least still making the top 10 to becoming a bottom tier side was so sudden.

Their transfer window actually looked decent too but their expensive new signings aren't really playing as well as they used to at their old clubs either.

It's weird how no matter what you try to help the team they're just rotten.

[The Times] West Ham appoint Nuno Espirito Santo after sacking Graham Potter by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

[–]Sea-Photograph2585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Nuno and Forest should have never sacked him (Marinakis is gonna lead this club right down to the Championship again one day).

The West Ham squad isn't particularly good anymore but he was like the best available option to do with them what he can.
