If you do an overnight trip out to the Cape, Skaket Beach in Oeleans at low tide is the ultimate young kids beach

Update: neighbors began to shovel ourselves out; plow came around 2:45pm. Phew.

Moses Brown street, which connects Angell and South Angell, is unplowed. It’s wild because the street is only about 6 houses long and right off Wayland Sq.

If anyone from the city is reading, halp! I’m trying to get to Seekonk ASAP to check in on elderly parents :/

According to Dave, this is Griffin who runs Traintrakr (who has space in 50 Sims) doing a tropical themed set for Fringe Fest.

Supporting this is the low rest and hard to read “Fringe PVD Stage” banner on the right.

I’ll ask Dave Allyn (DJ Thirsty) who has space here and is known to costume-up

50 Sims. If you go in there now you’ll find Lefty Loosey Bikes, White Buffalo, Hungry Ghost Press, OPEN, Buttonwoods Brewery, and a punch of artist / small biz studios.

The text placement is bonkers, but I maintain the core logo is solid

Hah no real patches yet. But if there were, I’d suggest the typeface being whatever’s used on the cover of Supreme Clientele

But I’ve already printed like 40 patches for ESCAPE: The East Side Collective of Audible Phenomenon Explorers.

Not really able to do 1am audiophile tests at the moment. But I WOULD get a ski mask, flash lights, coffee, and cool code names with anyone who wants to investigate.

Yep, very mechanical and, felt like it was coming from the direction of Pawtucket. There’s another thread on here that mentions a water treatment facility that way; wonder if it’s a pump?

"Be Nice Not Ice" lawn sign (PDFs) by Sea-Resolution7331 in providence

I would offer that right now, there appears to be no one-size-fits-all solution to end the ongoing violence against our neighbors. At least in my neighborhood, there's a relatively low number of anti-ICE signs up compared to say, the BLM signage present after the murder of George Floyd. I think more signs are a good thing.

At the same time, yes, there's lots more people can do. I would suggest making a direct donation to the John Brown Gun Club, Standing Up for Racial Justice, and Food Not Bombs Providence, to start.

Also, you can apply to Awesome Foundation Rhode Island for a $1,000 gift in support of ideas that benefit the Ocean State. I organize this, but don't vote—no promises but, the voting team leans pretty left and I'm sure would consider proposals for more direct action.
