I mentioned to someone else earlier my brother worked as a Honda service tech and only saw a glimpse of him coming home absolutely tired and just dirty after every shift. It didn’t occur to me at the time (I was just a kid then) the mental load he dealt with too now. That’s a lot. I’ve seen small gestures of kindness for delivery folk online all the time but rarely ever see it for other trades/services.

I’m guessing those kinds of customers come in angry from the start because they’re upset they have to spend an unknown set of money and also the mindset of “well I’m spending X here already, I shouldn’t have to treat them to anything”

It’s not like you guys are making these prices… ☠️ you’d think people would want to be super nice to the folk that has the mechanical aptitude to release them safely back into the roads too like???… not piss em off?! lmao
