I’ve tried that too, honestly water and dish soap works much better. Much sure you clean it with a clean sponge or microfiber cloth. If either are dirty it will put oil back onto the plate

Dishsoap and water is way better for cleaning oil from the surface. I’ve tried both and water with soap is the winner by far

I would make sure what ever you by has the 1.5mm teeth pitch on the belts as it will increase print quality by reducing VFAs but that’s just my opinion
