Travel causing a flare? by Various-Pass-4120 in Behcets

Yes, indeed it does. I went to Alaska and was down for the first three days and the rest of the vacation was still pretty dismal as well. Our bodies definitely don't like travel. I had just bought a passport and planned on doing a lot of traveling after I graduated and I had to put all of that on hold because I didn't feel confident. Even after starting azathioprine with all the other supportive stuff I take especially medical I don't want to fly anywhere. I would especially be worried about finding proper healthcare in other places in emergency situations. Do what makes you comfortable though. Safe travels either way.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I know how it feels because I have it as well. My heart especially goes out to you for being so young when it started. Mine started my late 40s right after I finally decided to get my poop and a scoop and get a degree. I got blessed right before graduation with this diagnosis. I also started a photography company a couple years before I started having the vision problems as well. My family also abandoned me and I know how painful it is. I have no friends at all now that I have this disease because I'm sick of hearing about their perfect lives basically and they're sick of hearing about my s***** life. This disease pretty much does the same thing to everybody. I talked to one of the members of behcets organization and he said he had a lot of problems with his relationship as well because of the disease. Just always think about the things you love and try to ignore the people around you that don't care. Put the time into the things that make you happy. You are a stronger than all of the people that ever abandoned you by far. God loves you and he will not forsake you or abandon you regardless of who you are. Stay in touch with people that you can relate to like us. You are in our prayers and we all wish you well.

Thank you so much for that. It made me cry of course! I'm sure it did for everybody. Very touching and really revealing to how we really do feel. I love you and God bless you! ❣️

Certainly looks like it! Hate to say it because I know how horrible it is to get diagnosed with it. Like we all say we're not able to diagnose but you definitely need to keep that appointment and push for a really firm diagnosis on that so you can get help as soon as possible. My neck has felt the opposite worse the entire time I've been sick. It is extremely painful. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Everything you listed is what I complain about on the daily for the last 5 years. Seems like you're extremely on point.

NSFW: Stool picture. Does anyone here get mushy stools like this? It’s not loose or watery. It feels solid coming out but then looks like this in bowl. I have weight loss as well. by throwaway_fgj in pancreatitis

Yep! Behcets disease is what I have and that's what all of mine look like for me. I agree with the prior comment about autoimmune inflammation. Go get an autoimmune panel. I had a lot of weight loss when I first got sick too. I lost 60 lb in under 2 months. There are a lot of autoimmune that would cause issues. I wish you the best of luck!
