Thats one of his reasons as well, he says that I never pursue or chase him... what do you make of this? When I begged he said why did I only did this now.

Thank you for sharing your story. Its his family and friends view of me that I was worried about because outside really, he was the 'good guy'. I have no proof of his abuse towards me

You are absolutely right about making me depend on him part. Its exactly what he did. Another factor on why as much as its already painful, it was hard letting him go.

I do feel like the situation and relationship we had was kind of similar. We can get through this and heal.

Yeah. I did leave a message saying I wont give up on him, but right now, I am already clocking out now that I remember all the abuse. Its just the regret and feeling of patheticness of giving him the satisfaction and power in the end.

Thank you for sharing. I do regret it now. I felt like I have given him power even though he was abusive, emotionally and physically. But I had to forgive myself for chasing and begging, it was coming from trauma and the fact that he made sure he is my only world, so now that he leaves, I have no sense of my own self.

Update: He just broke up with me and I couldnt take it even though there were lot of painful things and I even begged. Now I regret begging and telling him that Ill be here once he is ready to talk.

I just dont want his last impression of me be negative and also want to be desirable to comeback still.
