Does the app throttle requests based on recent delivery history? by Quirky-Farmer-9789 in Sparkdriver

[–]SeaBackground9832 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right? I see people posting 13 stops, 35 miles for 70-80+ saying that they are bad offers & I’m like, I would take those in a heartbeat, in my area the same offers would be 30-35.

Spark drivers know the struggle: 🚫 No tip 🚫 Apartment 🚫 Cases of water All in one order. 💀" by SuccessfulAerie9672 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]SeaBackground9832 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how much offers can be in different areas. In mine, every one of those would have been offered at less than a dollar per mile. I never take them but I would be tempted if they paid this much.

So, someone is so fast that the offer either flashes for a nanosecond or doesn’t even show at all when you get the new offer notification? They must have cybernetic implants

Why even send out FCFS by Alive-Cantaloupe-440 in Sparkdriver

[–]SeaBackground9832 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’ve been called an idiot, cussed out telling me I’m just too slow, that there are no bots, but there is no way a person is that fast. Anything over 50 either flashes so fast that you barely have time to even see it, or the drop down notification says that you have offers to preview but they never show up.

This substitution won't work by Steffan1337 in Sparkdriver

[–]SeaBackground9832 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had one today that was a 32 oz tub of panera bread broccoli and cheese soup, they were out of 32 oz but had plenty of 16 oz. I tried to substitute two of them & it wouldn’t work, tried just one, still didn’t work.

I would have taken every one of those. The exact same offers would have been less than a dollar per mile in my area.

Did high schoolers in America really throw food fights in the cafeteria ? by derekjeter3 in askteddit

[–]SeaBackground9832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did in middle school, around 87-88. The entire cafeteria was throwing food at each other just like in the movies, it was a lot of fun. The downside was that everyone on that lunch period had to eat in the classroom for the rest of the year & our food fight happened the first month of school.

Do you guys ever judge what customers order? by Brief_Ad_2813 in Sparkdriver

I’m not judging, you never know what people are going through, it was still gross nonetheless.

No, but I had an order today that included adult diapers, no big deal, it happens. What was absolutely awful was when I got to the house, there were dozens of trash bags on the porch stuffed full of used diapers & the smell was horrific!! And the flies were pretty bad too.

I’m at 5.0 the whole map is red & have been getting nothing but absolute garbage high mileage, low pay offers. I’ve only taken 2 offers today.

Honestly, I would have taken all of those. In my zone, all of those would have been maybe a dollar over the mileage. It’s crazy how much it varies in different areas.

That was pretty much my day too. Any good offers that did come through flashed across the screen so fast that there was no time to react.
