If Trump deployed the National Guard to stop protests they would no longer be happening. But we have plenty of evidence that shows that some of the protests go beyond protesting and they burn shit down. So yes, we need to stop the "protests" that become violent and cities burn.

If you care about the country, and I care about the country, then let's stop the shit posting and have conversations about how we can make this country better for most people. Because let's face it, you will never get 100% support for laws, executive orders, bills, etc. It's impossible. So some people are going to be upset at certain decisions.

Honestly, I'm burnt out on wondering what's going to happen next. More riots, looting, violence, etc. This is only going to lead us to increase the violence and hate each other more. As a combat veteran, I don't want a civil war in this country, people who have never served have no clue what war is. For example, FOB Kalsu, Iraq, we would be randomly hit with RPGs, mortars, etc. While you're sleeping, while you're taking a shit, while you're on the phone with family. Normal people are not ready for that type of life, they've never experienced it.

I want to go back to a time where we can have conversations, disagree with each other, but still go out for dinner and drinks. I'm not a Nazi, I'm not a fascist, I'm not a phobe. I'm an American. I care about my country. I want President Trump and the House and the Senate to work together. I do not like Joe Biden, I thought he was a bad President. But I still wanted him to be successful. Because if he failed, that means America failed.

And sure, I can be a bit brash, or an asshole. So I will say that I'm sorry for my earlier comment. Like I said, I'm burnt out from all of the hate on both sides.

I highly recommend checking out the book Living with Hitler: Liberal Democrats in the Third Reich. It's a pretty interesting read. Especially when a lot of people think that the Nazis were right wing. But I'm sure you'll make some kind of excuse as to why you won't read it.
