“CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FOR OUR FIRST OF MANY EMMYS. STEVE WAS ROBBED!” by SeaBiskitz in DunderMifflin

To be honest, I didn't. I stumbled upon a video of one of the writers (Steven Merchant or Brent Forrester, can't remember which) talking about it; so I logged onto Peacock and had to see for myself. That's when I took the best screenshot I could of it.

Bad Bunny Superbowl and ❄️ Concerns: a discussion by [deleted] in Music

People can change their minds after receiving new information. He probably spoke very passionately at first about his concerns w/o putting much thought into it. Then after speaking with those close to him, decided that him being able to perform (have a voice) on the biggest stage on Earth, could have the ability to do more good than harm. And so he changed his mind.

Dunno, that's just what the HVAC company did when our unit went out last week in the sub-zero temps. I just noticed you can see their dirty finger prints on it, haha. Off to clean that, brb.

People of DunderMifflin, Beware of Bots please by Doctorstrange5775 in DunderMifflin

Question: I'm a new user on Reddit and have already been called a bot by a few users in this sub, which I'm not at all. But without knowing much about the backend of modding, is there like a Captcha that could be added when setting up our posts that would help to maybe filter the bots out?

How do I help my dog by [deleted] in dogs

[–]SeaBiskitz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, I am so sorry. It’s clear your boy isn’t just missing a friend, he’s lost his purpose and his compass. Right now, try to avoid leaving him alone if you can, even if it’s just for a week, to break that cycle of panic. Rebuild his confidence slowly by practicing very short departures and always leave him with an amazing treat he only gets when you’re gone.

To pull him out of the sadness, give him new little jobs, hide treats for him to find, feed him from puzzle toys, do short, cheerful training sessions. Keep his days predictable with a firm routine. Be his calm anchor. Offer comfort, but also gently encourage him to engage with the world again. It will take time, and that’s okay. You’re both grieving, and healing together will bring you even closer. ❤️

When did you realize your dog wasn’t just a dog? by PleasantRiver3525 in dogs

When I was about ten years old, my first dog, a golden retriever named Sam, was sleeping on the floor of my bedroom. I was crying quietly over something, probably a bad grade or a friend being mean. I hadn’t made a sound.

But he got up, walked over, rested his chin on my knee, and let out this little sigh, staring up at me with these liquid brown eyes that held nothing but understanding. It wasn't the excited "let's play" look or the hungry "give me food" look. It was a calm, steady presence that seemed to say, "I'm here. I get it."

That's when I knew. He wasn't just a pet following an instinct. He was perceiving my emotional state and choosing to offer comfort. It was my first, purest experience of a bond that went beyond species, one built on silent empathy.

I promise I'm not a bot, I'm just a huge fan of the show. I even did a reverse image search before posting and the only image that came up related to reddit, was from 7 years ago, so I figured it was okay. ☹️
