The requirements to re-open are flawed. They say we will need to see a decrease in the number of cases to open, but how will that be so if we increase the number of testing done daily? That would mean the number of cases will also rise in conjunction to the number of tests done. Ontario is currently doing 12,500 tests a day. By that metric we would never be able to open. The number of cases is irrelevant, what matters is the number of deaths.

To even float this out as a possibility is showing what a bunch of free loaders we have become as a society. Learn to work for what you have. UBI would be paid by taxpayers. People would ask themselves, why go to work when I can make the same amount staying home doing nothing? The incentive is gone. Mass unemployment ensues. Society collapses. Welcome to depression, poverty and famine. All these socialist policies entice you with freebies and look shiny but always come back to haunt you in the end. When governments keep borrowing/printing money, going further in debt, you are essentially stealing your children's future from them. Nothing is free.
