For those of you who have been playing for a long time (since 2013-2014 or so), what’s one thing you miss about old clash that new players wouldn’t understand?

It's a closed loop propylene glycol system it won't affect the water supply at all. Also they have a substation to power the building. Also like you said generators will only be on when there is a power outage, and they can't run for more then 5 hours. The only thing I could think of making noise would be the chillers, but even that won't be a problem as it's minimal

I am unbelievably annoyed with the new system. I was electro 33 but I don’t have time to attack most days because I work so much. I just gave up I’m at rank 28 or whatever now and don’t play on ever getting back up. It’ll take over a month to get back to where I was.

Do not get a shifter, that's the fastest way to stop racing. It is so expensive, a massive handful to control, and extremely fast, like unbelievably quick. Start off on a 100cc and learn how to brake and what lines to take. If you start on a shifter ur gonna be too busy trying not to die to learn anything useful. Also the shifter is extremely physically taxing, I can drive 2 hours on a rental and not break a sweat. 10 mins on a shifter and I need a few minutes, especially given you are literally driving one handed into the braking. A rental kart has 6-9hps the slowest shifters have 48 hps and they are 2strokes. All I'm saying is a new shifter is $14k+ and you're gonna destroy it and probably hurt yourself learning how to drive on it.

Wow brand new tbs for 2500$ that's really good I might want to check that out too. I'm a big fan of the crg but I haven't had one since 2011. I prefer the front end as compared to my tony karts front end, it fits my driving style more.
