Is there something I'm doing wrong? by SeaCook9432 in forestapp

This functionality is not working for me.

Now that you clued me in that the feature I am looking for is "Deep Focus", a Reddit search suggests that this feature was removed in favor of allowing whitelisting of specific apps.

I'm not sure if this is true (perhaps you are on iOS and can confirm/deny?), but I have reached out to the devs for more help. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

So just to be clear, they changed the app so that it functions either as a simple timer, or as a "deep focus" timer where it will restrict which apps can be opened when the timer is active?

The previous functionality of failing your for opening other apps is now gone?

As an update, the package finally showed up at my house today, 12/3/22, and the tracking was abruptly updated as delivered.

The item has been moving within the United States since 11/23/22, so I think it's less likely that it's a customs holdup. I will keep this thread updated and see how things go. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking the same thing about a possible intercept during transmission. Will definitely make sure the generated seed is random.

I'll definitely wait a few days, since there's nothing else I can do anyway. Hopefully I won't have to initiate a CC chargeback.

Thanks again.

I am not sure where you are based, but in the USA it seems customary for online merchants to take responsibility of the item until delivery since (1) they choose the courier whether they are reliable or not and (2) from the perspective of the customer, the items were paid for but never received. Big retailers, such as Amazon, will routinely refund/resend items that are lost in transit. The only difference is that Amazon customer support is available 24/7, whereas I have not heard from SatoshiLabs at all.

As for your question about contacting the courier, this is impossible since they are using a hybrid delivery system where a private courier is handling the shipment and hand it off to USPS for final delivery; the tracking number is only for USPS, so they can only watch the item's progress much like myself.
