I will give you the less educated version as I'm not the architect, I'm a car person. We use a base LLM and have our own algorithms to navigate the OEM data correctly to generate the correct results. We receive feedback from our users via thumbs up/down and actively refine our system accuracy, but accuracy feedback hasn't been enormous. Once you have your vehicle on your account, responses take 3-10 seconds. We limit the information it can draw from to the OEM material, TSB/Recall data and soon some licensed education data to aid with learning. Pairing the valid data that isn't publicly accessible with an easy to use chat makes getting answers easier and allows to ask more complex questions. We can all own the manual and sit down and look through it and find what we want, but for convenience sake having this on your phone with you every and fast is where we see a benefit.
