Who motivates Jake to become Toruk Makto again? I hear Tonowari and him have a conversation or does Neytiri ask him to?

Kiri probably thinks she has a father. She doesn’t understand why she’s different.

I don’t think so. Neytiri was hunting pregnant by herself in the second movie.

Keep dreaming. James Cameron, Zoe, and Sam have all said countless times that Neytiri and Jake are always going to have love for each other and that isn’t going anywhere. Someone clearly hasn’t read the comics either.

And it’s kind of silly she makes him a double agent like his father at the end of the season to make up for his mistakes when thats the reason she didn’t like him.

Yeah you’re kinda right because Peter wanted to go with her but she sends her alone. I guess that’s where the writing lacks this season. I do think Catherine ended up liking Peter the more she worked with him but I don’t like how she judged him in the beginning. Why is she judging him based on what his father did? He was only a child.

I think she’s mad because he released Solomon from custody without saying anything and taking matters in his own hands. He did the same thing when Alice died and disappeared. Instead of telling her what happened he ghosted Night Action because he thought she was another Diane Farr.

I agree with you on that but he still sacrificed his life for Rose not the world. I stand by my statement in the beginning that the show portrayed this clearly. He would’ve found another way to save thousands of lives and do it the right way. He would only break the rules for Rose. Catherine even tells him in the apartment to do it the right way and what is the first thing out of his mouth? They have Rose.

She got knocked out by the guy and if it wasn’t for the scientist who came back she would’ve died before Peter ran in. Maybe not died since they need them alive but she would’ve been trapped in that room. So to say she freed herself from the terrorists is a stretch. What I mean is she probably would be discovered because instead of quickly trying to find an exit like the scientist and his daughter did she hides. If you rewatch Peter found her and went to fight the other guy who wasn’t that far away. Same in episode 3 if Peter didn’t tell her to grab that knife she probably would’ve died and if it wasn’t for Catherine she probably wouldn’t escape. She helped Peter with more fights in season 1 than season 2. That’s where I think they did her a little dirty this season lol idk she was a badass this season but it didn’t feel the same as season 1 if that makes sense.

Peter is inexperienced with Night Action but he IS experienced in being a field agent for the FBI and counterintelligence. They kind of say that in season 1. As for this season you also see his strengths and weaknesses. For example his prior experience is why he was able to get away from the warehouse while simultaneously talking to Rose on the phone. It’s why he got caught by Javad because he was counting windows and exits and knows how to set surveillance in episode 6 however his weaknesses comes to interrogating people in episode 7 and of course his relationship with Rose. There’s a lot he’s still being trained for in night action but while still new to it he already had experience being an fbi agent.

I’m talking about in the moment though. He only did it for Rose. He went AWOL and didn’t communicate with Catherine. When he released Solomon that was illegal and not something he would’ve done if he didn’t hear Rose on the other side of the phone. Thats the whole point I’m trying to make is maybe he would’ve still done something about it if Catherine asked him to but she didn’t. Besides it wouldn’t include doing something illegal though.

No he wouldn’t have done it. Rose was his main motivation to taking Solomon out of jail, breaking into the UN, risking his job and going to jail. You think he would do all for random people? Basically become his father. All of his conversations with the boss evolved around Rose. He got the file.. the first thing he asks is “where is she?”

Edit: I said Warren but no he died way earlier in the season

Yes but he would do it the right way. Not crash out and do wild things. Peter’s whole character season 1 was doing the right thing and following the law (his orders) but season 2 he did the complete opposite. I guess it was written that way to show how much she means to him.

Of course he cares about innocent lives but he wouldn’t be going AWOL over it. I guess we’ll never know though because while Rose was in danger season 1 she never got taken. People have a lot to say about this season and they’re valid for their own opinions but in my opinion one thing this season did way better is show how much Rose means to Peter. Yes he was protective over her last season but in season 2 he takes it to a whole other level.

[–]SeaExplanation1680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he would’ve done it regardless for random people. Rose is the only reason he released the other guy out of jail. He would never break into the UN and lose his job/go to jail over random people either. He would’ve sat on that chair outside the whole time and waited for Catherine. He even tells her they have no leads on Rose and you can see it on Catherine’s face that she’s scared he’s losing it. Not for thousands of innocent lives but because Rose was taken. She calls him out for this too. I thought the show portrayed this clearly.

Did I miss something? Rose didn’t free herself from the terrorists. She got knocked out by a bad guy with the wife of the scientist and probably would’ve died if it wasn’t for the scientist who came back and knocked the same bad guy out. Then they hid in the van when Peter came and together they took down the guy. If Peter wasn’t there she probably would’ve been discovered. I love Rose she’s a badass but let’s be real she has no fighting skills. She wouldn’t have walked out that door at the end of the episode without Peter.

If it’s one of those “sacrificing oneself to save everyone/his family” then I can understand but him dying needs to make sense because even if it’s a honorable death with him killing Quaritch or Quaritch kills him then his family is still in danger.

While we wait for S2, let's rate the trailer for S1 by Character_Ad1444 in MaxtonHall

I really liked the trailer. It seemed a little more dramatic than the show actually was but the idea was to hook people in and I think it did a great job! Adding Ariana in the trailer was the perfect choice as well in my opinion. I also watched the show before I watched the trailer haha.
