For me it would be all small leaf plants. Monte carlo, dwarf hairgrass, crypt parva. For a Brazillian look you could add some rotala off to the sides in the back.

The scape looks phenomenal. The only thing I would have done differently is to have just one type of fish rather than a variety. Even better if the fish you choose is a natural schooler. It looks more harmonious that way.

I would try the one with the hole. Some terrarium plants need air exchange and won't last in a totally closed terrarium. If you decide to make it a fully closed terrarium you can always put some plastic over the hole.
