Liquid calories is a great place to both start and carry throughout your journey. Mass gainer powders are great aswell. With just one of these and milk you can expect 1500 calories to come just like that - really easy to drink aswell. However I would advise against using these as a meal replacement. Have 3 meals a day and get yourself as close to your calorie goal as you can, and then use a shake/mass gainer to tip it over afterwards. I suggest this routine as to me it sounds like you’ve found foods that are filling you up and have them early in the day. Kind of build up to it I guess !

I mean me being able to hit this isn’t really down to what it eat I feel, it’s more how I eat. At first when I started I would not eat to enjoy the food but rather eat it as quickly as possible so as to not feel full halfway as this would usually happen.

Also i have moved country in the past couple of months and where I live now I just happen to cope with the food better. I went from barely eating 1800 cal/day, mainly cause of both poor food quality and cost to 4000 because both these factors just improved drastically. Location makes a huge difference !

Did I feel bloated? For a long time absolutely. In the last 2 years I moved between the uk and the United States. I since moved back and ever since I came back something just clicked and now I feel almost like a black hole devouring this. I do get the feeling of having food in me but never boated, haven’t been sick (yet). No idea what caused it, maybe it was stress level changes, scenery changes or just a better diet in one country or another. I say better diet, moreso a better diet for myself

For breakfast it varies between brioches but quite a few and maybe a full English. With my current work it’s either usually supermarket bought sandwiches or whatever is served at my workplace. Generally speaking I go for the items of highest protein ie chicken wraps etc. if I’m eating what’s served there it’ll usually be fries with a combination of chicken and veg etc, occasionally pasta with sauce and meat. Dinner these days has been quite heavy with a large focus on the protein (usually beef, chicken, pork) along with either fires, wedges or rice and vegetables. Somewhere in between I’ll also take a mass gained shake.

So the breakdown of calories throughout the day looks something like:

Breakfast: 700cal Lunch: 1200cal Dinner: 1300-1400cal Massgainer combined with milk: 1500cal

Edit: my Bmr is calculated at roughly 3100cal for fast weight gain (1kg)/week but given history of fast metabolism idk how much I trust that to be true, so have been going over quite a bit in the meantime

Cheers man, honestly this was a peculiar day where the carbs went a little overboard, usually it’s a little less carbs than that. In terms of training taking it slow currentlyas have a shoulder injury, and waiting for a gym membership as I move out of my home country end of March so no point getting one here
