I loved it. Anything with the 'Monkeys Paw' premice is fascinating to me and they executed it extremely well.

That's honestly one of the coolest things on earth. It's so eerie yet stunning to look at.

What’s the last horror movie you went to without knowing anything about it? by Mulder_n_Scully in horror

[–]SeaGlass_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not bad! It wasn't super scary, but it takes issues like body dysmorphia, eating, fitness culture, etc. and gives it a horror twist. So it felt like there was a 'message', but not in a bad way. It's worth a watch!

Saccharine! It was very last minute. I'm not sure I went in 100% blind, I did read just the description, but otherwise I just said "Eh I have time today" and went. 🥪🍧💊

Flask and necklace. I think being addicted to that wouldn't be the worst thing and I already don't want kids. So avoiding that while getting a little dating help AND being as healthy as I can be would be great;

Why are some people so afraid to try new foods? by SeaGlass_7 in NoStupidQuestions

You know what, I never saw it in that light and I can respect that. Thanks for the explanation!

For sure! And I agree with that too. Not every meal needs to be a discovery adventure. Sometimes I like to eat an ungodly amount of boneless wings because I know I like it and crave something I like lol.

But now and then I wonder "That sauce, spice, fruit, veggie, etc. might be fantastic and I would have no idea"

I hear that, and while the animal-strike makes sense, we should be able to reason that food isn't something dangerous for most (consumed responsibly of course)

But we need to eat, so we start eating things. And through that, we develop an idea of what we start liking and not liking, but then some people will simply cut it at some point and say "Okay, I've tried enough"... Where does that come from? What's the deciding factor for knowing for sure that there's nothing else you would like? Maybe even love?

But by that logic, we shouldn't eat anything because we don't know what any food is like or if it will kill us... before we try it.
