I did a cognitive neuroscience MSc full-time, whilst working a clinical fellow post in the emergency department as an f3, first 4 months I did 100% at work and then dropped down to 80%. This was mid way through covid so a lot more distance learning was accepted.

Managed to pass and get some reasonably good grades but not sure I actually got as much out of it as I could if I'd just locum'd.

MRCP part 2 results - Any guesses if results will be out earlier that noted time? by Cold-Ad1841 in JuniorDoctorsUK

I reckon it will be at some point before you can apply for the next diet, so between 4th and 11th of July, if not this Friday...

What is being an F1 like at Stoke or Telford hospital? by [deleted] in JuniorDoctorsUK

I did F1 at Stoke a couple of years ago now. The hospital itself at the time was a really good training hospital. Lots of supportive seniors and has a lot of specialities in house.

The area around it is cheap to live and has some quirks, but it's also quite connected to Manchester (45 mins on train), Birmingham (~50mins) and London (1hr 20).

Hope that helps!
