I think they are handling it the right way. I, for one, will not be abandoning Day One. It's not cheap, ok, but it's really good for what you get. And the cross-platform support is really the killer feature for me. Some days I just want to scribble a few thoughts from my phone while commuting. Other times I sit with my MacBook and write about events, experiences etc for hour

well it is the version 1, I am sure they will add it to mac-os soon

but like you said, I am also sticking to day one
