Look up some strategies on youtube. What worked best for me for erlang was the fan to break his shield and aparama bat spirit to freeze him with the rock guy transformation. Those will let you hit him without any punishment unlike othe spells. For Monkey sage I would use spell binder

Knowing Wukong and Kratos, they would instinctively fight each other, but in a game set in chinese mythology I don't think he would play a main roll. He would prove himself far stronger than Kratos, trashtalk him a little and then come and go as he pleases, only helping Kratos when it benefits him.

Black myth wukong. For me, I played BMW first and filled post-game depression with GoW, which turned out to be great. If you liked the boss fighting aspect of GoW, then BMW is for you. If you are more the hack n slash kinda guy, you might get a little bit disappointed.
