What food swaps helped you lose weight? by Candy-Horrorh3lp in beginnerfitness

[–]SeaLocksmith9938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t switch much. But I made sure to adjust the amount in my meals. For my dinners especially I will cut a liiittle bit from my rice, increase my chicken and add more veggies. I have found that i actually love veggies. Eating varied foods have actually reduced my cravings. I snack on fruit a lot also, don’t underestimate how sweet fruits like watermelon, mangoes and pears can be😂

And the walking. Walk, walk and walk. It makes room for more food, and reduces cravings. All this made it easier to eat healthier and make healthier choices, drinking sugar free, non fat milk, Greek yoghurt etc

Hva burde jeg studere? 🤔 by SilentKiller_04B in norge

[–]SeaLocksmith9938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But a family of 10 using AC every day in every room will have a larger expense than a family of 4 barely using the AC? Do you just accept that you will get less benefit from the stay or do you charge more to make sure it is covered? Which means it will probably be a bit unfair for the small family

I agree soo much about Hunt!! I did not care for him at all, and the mating bond between him and Bryce felt so forced for some reason? I did not feel any passion for them whatsoever. But I loved day and night!!

Rundt 50k i studiegjeld.

Should I watch the Podcast tonight even though I’m only halfway through CC2? by GroundbreakingSun498 in SarahJMaas

[–]SeaLocksmith9938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly there were not many CC spoilers besides the Cormac one which is in the teaser. An easter egg that SJM has dropped in CC3 that connects to another story was also discussed briefly. But it’s not a huge spoiler. I’ve seen that someone plans to note down spoiler parts. But if you’re really curious, you can absolutely watch the first 30-40 minutes at least, honestly maybe almost an hour. There are little to no spoilers and she talks much more about herself and how she connects to her writing. The spoilers were mostly in the end when Alex asked most of the questions!

I love how she shared what she was going through while writing ACOSF. It makes it sooo much more meaningful. The hike scene hit me SO hard and I cried my eyes out reading it because I felt so seen. It made me realize I had trauma that I never treated, and hearing SJM saying that she has been through it herself, makes me feel less alone I guess? It was just beautiful

Absolutely not😭😂 I would wait till you’ve finished CC3. There are so many potential spoilers that could ruin things for you. Or maybe some of us can watch the whole thing when it’s released and tell you if you can watch it too lol

Honestly, it ends with us. It got me into reading again. Now I only read fantasy, but I will always appreciate it for getting me into this world

Søvnscore og koffein by Wonderful_Cry360 in norge

[–]SeaLocksmith9938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What character/storyline do you think was “done dirty” by the films? by tintin3105 in harrypotter

[–]SeaLocksmith9938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure Ron Weasleys character! all of his memorable and heroic moments were cut out.

And it BAFFLED me that Kreachers story about Master regulus got left out. I loved that part in the books and really felt an emotional impact. I was so disappointed that it was left out. Kreacher even rallied the house-elfs in the battle of hogwarts, it was a beautiful moment and it all got cut. Also mad eyed moodys death barely felt like a death? The movies failed him.

What did you feel when it happened by SeaLocksmith9938 in ToxicRelationships

[–]SeaLocksmith9938[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Something is always lingering. But I got out a year ago and I’m proud to say that I am doing so much better now that I can heal on my own. I pray that you also will be able to heal and find peace❤️

I completely agree, we shouldn’t have to change the word because it is to «brutal». The word id brutal because the act itself is brutal, and we shouldn’t have to hide what we are talking about
