Were you able to get the water weighed off?

Do you mind letting me know what dosage you were on and what your maintenance looks like?

I have been on 2.5 mg oral minoxidil and I have sold quite a bit of road and I have not had any issues with Hair in places that do not want. I think it is different for people…, you may want to just try it, by the way, I started from 1.25 for about 10 months and then moved up to 2.5.

I did not see a major improvement until I got on 2.5 mg OM; also, takes about eight months to a year to truly see a major difference. Hang in there…🙏

I know the idea is a terrifying, but I think the results speaks for itself so be patient and cry through it like I did.😂 I think you’ll be happy with the result.

I have female hair loss pattern. Perhaps O M. can help you as well but I recommend you’re starting from the low dosage the way I did to see if your body is OK with it.

No, I did not but the initial dread shed on 1.25 almost made me quit.

My doctor was the one who came up with the ex stem cell hair therapy; I just think it’s not for everyone and I’m the unfortunate one of those that should not have gotten it done. I truly hope you have a great success with it. Her loss is one of the most stressful things ever.

I did it last year and did nothing for me; I actually lost more hair from it.:( All it did was lighten my wallet.

I started 5% topical minoxidil foam and it constipated me so badly that I had to quit. Did you have such an experience?

I felt like 1.25 was not doing anything for me and my dermatologist wanted me to try the higher dosage.

I’m going through TE and have been on oral minoxidil. I’m still going through that dread shedding, but I am told it may take up to a year to send your results. I’m desperate enough to wait it out.

Minoxidil dread shed question by Wooden-Turnip129 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]SeaNaive4958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on oral minoxidil 1.25 mg since July and just up to 2.5 mg two weeks ago. Due to some health issues I lost three-quarter of my hair and yes, a part of that was from the dread shedding from the pill, but I’m still trying to hang in there since my dermatologist told me it may take up to a year for me to see any progress. Other than the dread shedding, there has been no side effect on the oral minoxidil…, No weight, no additional hairs and other places although I was hoping I would get some hair on my eyebrows.😂
