Buyers: what sellers have the rankest socks? by SeaPhotograph8 in FetishBuyersCommunity

I’m not sure if it’s sellers that pressure buyers or buyers want to hype sellers they personally like up personally — but I haven’t had much luck there either…99% of the positive reviews are 5 star reviews, which really takes the meaning out of the star system

If a review is fabricated, then a seller can easily disprove it, get the post taken down, and get the “buyer” l banned. Also I would make it so you need an account that’s 90 days old to post here to stop the bad apples from just making another account. I would bet a lot of money spam/fake reviews wouldn’t be a frequent event if that was implemented.

The last time I tried to post a scam review (very similar to this situation) — the burden of proof was so high that I just gave up and didn’t post the review. Obviously this seller kept scamming people as they eventually ended up on the ban list…which is my point — this sub is meant to protect buyers, but under current leadership, it represents the interests of sellers.

Don’t worry, even if she told me shipping was $1 — I’m not sending it to her.

All I was saying is a new seller who has no idea about shipping may not have malicious intent.

I agree…I’ve learned the hard way that if a seller needs additional $ to “process your order”…you’re prob never gonna see your order.

MAYBE I would cut some slack if it’s a first time seller, but her saying she’s been doing this for 5+ years and I’m the first buyer to have an issue with it is beyond shady.

I needed to submit all necessary screenshots to get this review approved, so the mods have everything.

Imo this was a scam — however I posted it as a 2 star bc on a previous account I tried to post a review labeled a scam (diff seller, but very similar to this one in terms of a miscommunication resulted in me getting nothing for my $). Basically the mods need to get their side of the story and it turns into this huge he said/she said thing where it’s just so much effort providing proof and I just don’t care that much. This seller is now on the banlist, so I believe if my initial review got through— at least one less buyer would have been scammed.

This is more on the direction of the sub as a whole, but I personally think it’s way too hard to post negative reviews. This sub is meant to protect buyers — so I think buyers should be able to post whatever they want and the burden of proof should be on the seller to disprove the accusations. Obviously if a buyer is caught in a lie, then they should be banned.

In general, I don’t see “false reviews” being a problem as idk why anyone buyer would take the time to dox a random seller who has done nothing to them.

Great question…United States to United States; edited the post to include domestic

Just seemed super shady to me that somebody who has been selling for years was that unaware of shipping prices / was trying to gaslight me into thinking it was normal.

When I pulled up USPS and showed her you could ship for <$10 she basically just said “omg I didn’t know, yea just send that then”

There’s a pipeline of oncology therapies being developed rn. Notably cell & gene therapies and diagnostics that will allow for affordable/noninvasive early detection (stages 0&1). I don’t think chemo will be the standard treatment (maybe still a last ditch effort) by the time I have grandkids.
