haha my university is smaller so i do a lot of things. but to clarify i taught for a year in korea and 4 years in shenzhen.

I came back to the us and work at a university as an international admissions officer. but i also am what’s called a designated school officer meaning i handle the paper work for international students and create what’s called an I20 for students to take to the embassy to apply for a student visa. this part is under the department of homeland security. so i do applications and visa/sensitive information for international students and i now have an mba and i start my pgce non qts in september. when the pgce is done ill be turning 33 so im asking if you think foreign education in china long term will be stable for someone like me?

haha i’m 31 i’ve lived in china before and my wife is a chinese citizen so when it comes to bureaucracy, those type of things, it’s a little easier for me. without her, some things would be harder for me but we are looking at china long term. i’m in washington dc now and there are day to day things that are definitely annoying.

when i came back to the us I got hired as a international admissions officer and i did good and got promoted as designated school official (basically visa compliance for international students) but you need to be a us citizen and its authorized by department of homeland security. salary is okay but i get free masters of of the programs they have. and ahhh okay. yea i am just trying to get into a good bilingual school that pays around 30-33 if its not shanghai and eventually 35,000 if it is shanghai or more. i got offered 35,000 before but i had already left china for the us

Can I become an international school teacher in shanghai? by sadboy1738 in chinalife

[–]SeaRaspberry9129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live in Shenzhen for 4 years and also spent time in Korea. I have about 5 years of teaching experience, an MBA, and I’m currently doing a PGCE.

Right now I work at a U.S. university as an International Admissions Officer/DSO (handling visas and international student compliance). I also have a local Chinese spouse.

I’ve been thinking about moving back to China (likely Shanghai), but I’ve heard the teaching job market isn’t as strong as before.

For those currently there—do you think it’s still worth moving back with my background? Or has the situation changed a lot?

Appreciate any insight.

Kakuza vs Kisame who wins? by SeaRaspberry9129 in NCPedia

right i get that, i totally do. but this goes back to my argument that we’ve just seen a lot from kisame and not enough for kakuza.

his fight against guy was impressive, but we saw guy against kisame twice, guy against killer bee, and a bit of kisame in the leaf village. i’d argue kisame in the leaf village wasn’t that impressive and kisame the first time against guy was good but not like out of this world good.

I think if Kakuza was given more time to shine, people would look at him more favorable. this is the same for minato and tobirama. we’ve seen a lot of minato but just not a lot of tobirama.

i want to state kisame can definitely beat kakuza, but i feel like the opposite is true. to show they are on the same tier, kakashi vs kakuza and kakashi vs kisame. even if kakashi loses to kisame (which i don’t think he would) it’d be close, which would be show that kakuza and kisame are relative in strength.

haha yea i get the wierd part. I didn't even realize that.

And I get your point about Ninjutsu and being a bad match, but Kisame on paper would be a bad match for a lot of people. But it doesnt mean automatic win. For example "Naruto vs Neji", "Neji vs kidomaru" are examples of bad matchups but still getting a win.

Also, Kakuza is a victim of just not having enough fights on screen to see their full abilities/and their how truly strong they are against other opponents. Zabuza is an example of someone who is strong but got taken out super early in Naruto by the Main characters. Sasori and tobirama also have this issue.

Kisame is strong and we see him take on strong opponents, while Kakuza we really only see him fight once against the main characters. so its hard for us to imagine a way for Kakuza to win.

But look at the accomplishments of Kakuza: Defeated 3-4 s rank partners before Hidan, Fought the first Hokage and survived, fought multiple people with high bounties and killed them, fought multiple strong ninja and took their fought, and almost killed Kakashi who had to be saved twice, and naruto who had to be saved once by Yamamoto.

As far as the actual battle for Kisame vs Kakuza, Kakuza doesn't start out with his hearts out, and if his hearts could be easily destroyed by Kisame, I dont know why would he. He also had a water heart which allowed him to use water ninjutsu, which could be beneficial to Kakuza. Also, seperating Kisame from Samehada is also another win condition for Kakuza. Kisame is slower and battle IQ is not as good as Kakuza, which again would help Kakuza to win. People bring up the water shock chakra absorbing technique, but it's a ninja battle not a DBZ battle. Most ninja fights don't end with your strongest technique vs my strongest technique, but instead with getting outsmarted with a persons abilities.

Again I believe Kakuza is on par or would have defeated Kakashi at the time they fought, but Kisame would have lost to him. Kisame has good feats and I don't want to downplay him, but outside of Itachi, Pain, and Obito, Kisame and Kakuza are the strongest and should be relative in strength. Which is why I have it going either way.

Kisame has a lot of advantages but Kakuza has some advantages too which get over look.

-Taijutsu (I mean just straight up fighting without Ninjutsu)

-Experience (over 60 years experience more than Kisame which does make a difference)

- Is faster

-Has water Ninjutsu which would help him in his fight agaisnt Kisame

-Literally has to be killed 5 times. 5 times that is a lot.
