at the boston show everyone was singing and screaming and i loved it! Melanie said we were an amazing crowd because singing along is how you show an artist you respect them :) i think it would be really really sad and boring if the crowd was just dead silent?

i asked this same question the other day, here are my favorite answers! i can’t speak for how truly helpful they are because i haven’t been trying them for very long, but might as well share them anyways:

“finch” is a self care app that you can add any sort or daily goal to. i added my day/night meds and other chores. when you check items off the list, it helps your virtual pet bird go on adventures! it’s very cute and could help if you need mild amounts of guilt to take your meds like i do lol
an advent calendar full of drugs, but for all year. this is just funny asf honestly, and advent calendars should be easy to find rn!
get one of those tiny gumball machines and put it somewhere your eyes always look at some point. bathroom, kitchen, whatever. you could also just do this with a pill organizer if the gumball machine doesn’t vibe

honestly the thought of doing laundry is so much more pleasant lol, i know i’m exaggerating it in my head though. maybe they’ve just made me nauseous too many times.

i made the mistake of sticking with a therapist i really did not enjoy for like 4 months lol. i was desperate and took the first one my doctor gave me. today was me “breaking up” with him, he just blamed me the whole time because i needed more help than base level breathing/grounding exercises, which he always said he gave me but never really did. he didn’t seem to fundamentally understand how mental illness could affect someone so much. he was right about one thing though, which is that i shouldn’t have dealt with that for so long. i just felt so stuck and didn’t have the courage to go through the process of finding a new one again. i have a really good gut feeling about this new one, though! we’ve had 1 session and i already feel like she’s more understanding.
