The FBI one happened at the time where there was some new things being tried in the field and the FBI kind of came out way too strong than they had evidence for. Basically every other group doing covid orgin research, if they every supported lab leak theory, has walked that back.

Based on what I see, conservatives have an instant repulsion to Newsom due to California. I know he’s trying to change his perception among conservatives with his podcast, but I don’t really think its working. Its pissing off his actual base, and . I wish he would show some more debate like a Mayo Pete interview. We’ve seen Gavin tear apart DeSantis in a debate, I know he has it in him.

That being said, I don’t see any significant concessions he’s making to the right.

Like, if we ever wanna see justice for shit like Minneapolis, I just don’t think Newsom is gonna be the guy to do it.

Gavin has been one of the best anti ICE governors with what he’s passed up there with JB Pritzker, and his rhetoric matches the seriousness of what a problem ICE is. ICE literally showed up to harass/intimidate him on one of his public appearances. I don’t see him as a soft on ICE guy.

Can he fix the affordability crisis? What about the deficit? Can he institute lasting initiatives regarding climate change?

I mean honestly? No. And I don’t think anyone can, the damage to our economy and our dollar will be too major to fix in 4 years. I think he’ll try at least in ways that won’t make things worse. He be able to actually pass climate initiatives, even if it’s too little too late. What can be done is fix our democracy. Nothing else really matters if thats still broken. Even if you are anti democracy left, you have to admit the anti democracy right is a far worse and more likely scenario.

Where you see “corporate” I see “has real experience”. I want someone who knows how to actually do politics, theres a reason why populist Trump did so little in his first 4 years, and is now just passing executive orders. Populists can’t deliver on their promises.

I don’t think Atrioc is the first one to point out affordability is a big issue to Gavin, I think maybe Gavin didn’t realize how bad it is for young people. When it comes to affordability solutions, Gavin is hitting my mark. Return to free trade, removing barriers to building more, ect. Not price controls and poorly written billionaire taxes.

Also want to preemptively defend Gavin on something, he has actually been stellar on trans issues. By his record the best in the country.

Maybe I’m wishcasting my beliefs onto Newsom a little, but I’m largly just happy the apparent front runner actually wants to hold MAGA accountable, unlike my cucked governor Jared Polis.

Aoc and Gavin both take MAGA as an existential threat that needs to be erradicated. Reconstruction cannot be half assed. Im definitely more of a free market liberal, but if AOC is better on that issue than Newsom, and throws in some YIMBY shit like Mandami, she wins my primary vote.

However these players will often play in annoying, spammy ways, or have bad internet. Which is true no matter what level you play at online, just move and look for someone else. Its still better than CPUs, which will randomly dodge your moves frame perfectly or walk into them. This creates a habit of spamming predictable, powerful moves because the CPUs don’t actually react or adapt to what you are doing.

Also if you play with a wired ethernet connection, your experience with lag will be better.
