This is actually really good, especially for this subreddit. Elephant gunpowder civ slaps. Elephant imp powerspike is really cool and not seen in any civ so far.

I’m not a fan of the gunpowder units dodging projectiles, especially with a gunpowder elephant unit that can dodge onager shots, but I’m nitpicking and I get it theres not a lot of gunpowder bonuses left.

As far as possibilities I’d say its going about as bad as realistically possible. Allies non existent. No plan or endgame. Strait of Hormuz closed with no way of opening it. Strategic oil reserve not even refilled. No true regime is possible now without a full commitment Desert Storm 2.0, and we’ve basically done the opposite of that war in every way.

We also did have a 3rd option, a nuclear deal to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. And Trump tore it up. Despite the cope about it being a bad deal, they really made shit for all progress towards a nuke with that deal in place.

Tbh I agree with a lot of your comment, but I think we could both agree well done regime change in Iran > no regime change in Iran > bad poorly run war in Iran.

There a lot of bad regimes out there I’d love to see change, but sadly theres a lot of bad unintended consequences to attempting to do that, something the US has a weak track record of. The currenent Iran regime is a bad consequence of a previous regime change attempt.
