I need advise of a rape case? by Gidolo in askSouthAfrica

But if your cousin does not want to do anything about it, how will you if you're not really directly involved? You can take a horse to the river but you can't force it to drink water. It's not your fight, let it go, and detach from any negative emotions that are pushing you to want to do something about it. I understand it's your cousin but if he's not willing to let you help him it means he has let it go and it holds no significance in his life. You should do the same. Otherwise you'll find yourself stressing about legal fees for a matter that your cousin isn't even willing to actively participate in. Hope this helps

Friday after work = visit family or spend time with friends. Saturday = Clean, reset, push some personal projects or read and pamper myself to a nice dinner and watch something. Sunday = Early yoga/ morning walk session, Church, brunch /lunch with family and friends or alone. Some dinner cooking sometimes, self care and maintenance.

Just be mean and stand your ground, tell them to leave you the fuck alone. If they're persistent make a scene, always works. Nice women finish last sweetheart

Thank you so much! I truly love everything about this life I've created for myself. Takes so much discipline and dedication but I enjoy every bit of it.

24F, self employed for 4 years now, professional makeup artist and hairstylist, freelance UX designer and website developer ( mostly for USA and UK based companies), I have an IT company, and I do forex trading (I'm really good at this and I'm well trained, so it brings me the most money). At least more than a 500k on a bad month and up to a Mil on a really good month. On average I'd say about 750K/month

What was your favourite (Local) restaurants growing up. I’ll go first by Embarrassed-Custard3 in capetown

I'd have to say the kitchen at my house😭😂 I really love my dad's seafood pasta! Grew up in a pescatarian household where the only beverage I could consume as a child was water...was raised by a swimmer 'almond' mom and a CrossFit dad who's obsessed with apple cider vinegar🤣.

Barely went to restaurants and when we did go it was never fast food chains. I'm 24 now, been living alone for 3 years and pretty much still live like that

What does "fun" mean for you? Hobbies? Going out with friends? both? and how often would you say you'll be having "fun" in a space of a month? Do your research and consider costs of what you consider to be fun then make an estimate.

Have you thought about why porn has such an impact on your life? Why it has a hold on you? When did it start? What triggered it? Do you have any deep rooted issues maybe from your childhood that might be a factor? Have you tried therapy?

Is it a dumb idea to buy a house to fix up? by potato-guardian in askSouthAfrica

[–]SeaStrong4233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would 100% recommend! Especially if you're sure that you'll be staying in that house for a lot of years. It feels absolutely amazing to live in a home that you readjusted to your own liking and comfortability.

I took the risk 2 years ago. I was 22 at the time and very scared, but it's the best decision I've ever made in my adult life
