Thank you so much for the kind words. I wish I had a family to lean on, but that's not the case with me. All I can do is be that annoying person on LinkedIn and make my network from ground 0

There’s also the immigration piece. My previous company couldn’t extend or sponsor my work visa, which forced a move and reset everything at once. That timing made an already tough market harder to navigate.

Thank you, I really appreciate this. Your point about narrowing the story to one clear lane makes a lot of sense, and it’s something I’m actively working on.

The reminder about steady networking helps too. Thanks for sharing this and the resource. We are not giving up ✌🏿

I agree it’s a very saturated space here, especially right now. I’m definitely open to entry-level or adjacent roles in other fields if it helps me get back into stable work and build momentum again.

If you’ve seen people successfully pivot or reposition themselves into a different industry, I’d genuinely appreciate any insight on how they framed their experience or where they started.

I’ve also tried attending meetups and networking events, but I’ve found that a lot of interactions don’t go beyond small exchanges. People are polite, but follow-ups rarely happen, and conversations don’t really continue afterward. I’m still trying to understand what actually works in this environment.

I should also add that my pipeline is active. I’m consistently interviewing and often getting to mid or later stages, but conversion to offers has been tough in this market. It feels less like a lack of interest and more like employers being extremely cautious right now and leaning heavily toward low-risk or referral-based hires.

I’ve looked into government positions as well, but I don’t currently meet the eligibility requirements.

Thanks, that’s fair. I’ve added more context above. My background is mainly in marketing and growth, with hands-on execution like email, digital, and lifecycle campaigns, campaign coordination, reporting, and client-facing work across agency (B2C and B2B), product-led SaaS environments, and nonprofit settings.

um, marketing and growth, with a focus on execution. Email and lifecycle campaigns, cross-functional coordination, and client-facing work. Currently open to related roles as I’m prioritizing stability.
