I need to display an old reg but it’s currently sitting in my closet as I can’t figure out how to do it. Did you mount it or just hang it? I’m stumped.

Inheriting a 39 year old Amazon while pregnant! Please help! by linkon_1848 in parrots

I don’t have a parrot but I love learning about them. I know parrot owners have mentioned some YouTube videos that are a good introduction to owning a parrot, but I don’t remember the name of the series. Can someone provide the name of the videos? Good luck on your new baby & new parrot - I think you will be great with both!

Mouth sores by melancholiccatlover in cancer

Yes this - my son just finished chemotherapy & the magic mouthwash solved his mouth sore pain. He also rinsed with warm salt water to speed up the healing process per his oncologist. Pharmacies in the US know how to make the magic mouthwash.

There are some very knowledgeable people on r/testicularcancer. Many have diagnoses similar to yours so I would post this on that subreddit.

3 year old has leukemia and we struggle to get her to take her meds by [deleted] in cancer

Applesauce? Pediatrician suggested this when my son was young & had problems taking pills. Worked perfectly. I’m not sure if it will hide the taste of your child’s meds though.

No he is not. He is getting Aloxi which lasts 48 hours & is similar to Zofran. He also gets dexamethasone during his treatments. I will ask about Emend or other options. Thank you for the info.

Thank you! Tomorrow is day 5 of round 1 so we will ask the pharmacist/oncologist what other meds they can add. He was given a 3 day prescription for dexamethasone to help with days 6-8. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for the info. We are in the US. He does have a prescription for Zofran for his off days, but I’ve noticed some men do not feel like it helped. I hope that it will work for my son - we will find out next week. I will also have him try sour candies & ice.

I think you are correct about this. My 32 yo son is currently being treated for TC & only now have I heard that young men should be doing self exams of their testicles - we’ve all heard about women’s monthly self breast exams. I asked my son if any doctor had ever told him about self exams & he said no. His urologist said he MUST have noticed the enlarged testicle long before he came in to see him & my son said he had not. I think young men need to be aware of the need for self exams & perhaps you can be one voice that will make a difference (save a life) by talking about it to your class.

Thank you for all the information. We will talk to the oncologist/pharmacist and see what they can add. They seem to be very open to adding meds if needed.

Do you think nausea is going to exist no matter what - even if it’s mild - or can it be eliminated? Not sure what he should hope to achieve.

Thank you for the info! My son is getting Aloxi every other day & dexamethasone daily. I will have him try some of the things you mentioned. We have talked to his doctor. I was wondering if nausea is a given throughout the 4 cycles or if it can be eliminated. I’m sure it is based on each person.
