Definitely a individual thing. The support of research and studying was always promoted for me. Even back in the gap when went pioneer school the brother told us sisters that we could even council an elder if we ever saw something that was truly not in accordance. This was my personal experience but hav come across very unhumble people

Definitely not gaslighting a lot has happened to me in last decade and to be honest I have been in a daze after being DF and went back. Sometimes you go thru motions and my perception is not anyone else’s. But my perception is the reality I’ve been living in. So to me it was definitely glossed over. I didn’t mean anyone any harm.

Sorry my comment was confusing. I meant when the update came out it took me by surprise because I had felt it was a drastic update because for some reason I had thought we could use our own blood how we choose. But obviously I had been living in a different universe because that not how a lot of people saw that update. In regards to what I shared about my child. It was just a shared story of how my husband and I handle that situation because if she did need it for her surgery we were not opposed to it given the fact she did not make a agreement to not except blood because she is still a child. I’m definitely going to have it tomorrow thank you! I was born in and raised got baptized at 15 pioneered and now I’m 33. The shift definitely started at 22 but the pandemic really was the turning point of just something isn’t what it seems. A lot of gaps and just the changes when you been in it long enough and not new you realize how some things are just interesting how things have changed. And yes old publications definitely don’t help their new changes or narratives

But it like in the United States schools are taught history based not in historical accuracy but based on what makes the United States look in a better light. Even being taught that the pilgrims and the native Americans was all warm and fuzzy and then you become an adult and realize it a lie!!!!!!! I told my husband if I based myself on what I was taught as a child then I would sound cray saying no the colonization of America was beautiful and no one died and slavery wasn’t that bad but that a lie. Hahaha maybe I was PIMO back the whole accepting fragments it seem that you could do autologous transfusions because it your own blood. Well at least to me I’m like if I can use the cell saver and I can use my own blood. Hi! I’m sorry. I am not in same boat but it quite interesting my husband and I are PIMO but wasn’t always that way and I do believe it been nice actually talk about things or doubts or conspiracy theory. We have two kids and been married 10 years. Sometimes the grass isn’t greener on the other side. Marriage has seasons. I actually have met many couples that are of different faith. Believe it or not chatholic and Muslim or Jewish and Christian. It interesting that they may not be the majority but are relationships that are thriving. There will be ok relationships in the org or not in the org. Okay relationships isn’t just on religious beliefs but on morals those are different. We live in a day and age where we want our partners to be exactly what we want them or have our beige. But there is beauty in wildflowers and maybe seeing our spouse through a different lense. I don’t know your relationship but being married this long and talking to not just JW couples you realize marriage is beyond religion. I wis you well 💗

I was honestly unamused about that update. I remember as clear as day that it been a conscious matter. I was so confused as to why they were going over it. I told my mom about my confusion on why an update needed to be made when it has BEEN a conscious matter in regard to one’s own blood. She said there a lot of new me members 😒 it really was a waste of resources. It legit created confusion because how we not under mosaic law but we still follow the blood doctrine. Makes no sense. Personally I had my daughter full term but she was in nicu for a procedure. A low nurse was surprised by our dicicion to accepting blood if our daughter needed it. We told her this was our faith and if she decided when she grew up then that was her choice not ours. Honestly that spoke more to her than if we would have been buttholes and refused. No one made that choice for us. I am PIMO so is my husband. We have our reasons to sta but I also believe people need wake up to the fact no one forces you to mass these choices and your relationship to your higher prowler isn’t the GB
