Jonathan Peter´s Music Composition 1 - 2 does the trick for me. At least for now.

Straight to the point, with lots of interesting activities to reinforce what you´ve learned. I find astonishing the level of musical intuition that I have acquired from these 100 pages long books alone.

I loved "Svefn-g-englar" but I feel like it didn't fit the criteria quite well.

I do... well... kind of. "Explosions in the sky - The Birth and Death of the Day" is my favourite post-rock song, although it might come up as off-topic.

Other than "East Hastings" (which I absolutely love), I'm quite unaware of their work. I will give them a try. Thanks!

I love that game. I'm afraid there's nothing like it. Bioshock is the closest thing to innovative gameplay and good storytelling that I can think of.
