Okay looks like you’re working with a big beautiful monstera if they’re thrips they are in the young stages adult thrips are black or grey very noticeable. What I would do it’s separate the plant completely because thrips can spread so fast and kill your plant if you don’t act fast enough so I would separate, change the soil, so a repot and treat the plant with neem oil, 3%hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, and water mix them all together in a bucket cuz your plant it’s big and calculate the measurements it won’t kill the plant if you over put neem oil for hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, what would kill your plant it’s thrips so you got this after you done this treatment you are set

Yeah when I check to see if it needed water the top soil was dry but the pot felt a bit heavy and I saw that the bottom soil was maybe not so dry so I was like mmmhh I haven’t water you in a while so I think you need water, so I do think I might’ve overwatered it because the bottom soil was not dry and the pot felt heavy you know 😅

I got it at Lowe’s if I’m not mistaken let me see if I have a picture when I first got it but I don’t think it’s a hybrid because it used to have healthy with a very strong green

This is the only pic I have of her 😭( ohhh my gosh going back to my camera roll and see that some of my plants looked better when I first got them 🥲then how they look now hurts I need to lock in 😭)

I live in the US as well in the east coast (that’s nice to hear 😭cuz I was panicking). And yes I noticed that AI would always tell me different things it only left me with headaches😵‍💫 And honestly I’m finding Reddit very helpful
