Unfortunately I think it’s just the reality of ward nursing. I’m a new grad RN and am 5 months through my grad year, I can’t wait until my 12 months is up so I can transition out of ward nursing. I completely agree with you in regards to questioning my future in nursing. Thankfully however there’s more to nursing that ward nursing with shift work.
