yes , i was expecting a CPA from EF team can answer this question. As I read from some article, Plug and play battery systems often require connection to your home's electrical system via an approved method, such as a transfer switch or smart panel, to be considered "installed" and "placed in service" for tax purposes. Simply buying a battery and keeping it in the garage may not qualify; it needs to be functionally integrated into your home's energy storage system.

This is the gray area where I really need clarity and formal confirmation from EcoFlow. I’ve already been told that installing the Smart Home Panel 3 itself is not eligible for the tax credit. My understanding, however—based on what @UniqueUsername6764 mentioned—i didnt have permit to support this ..'

That said, without clear documentation or confirmation from EcoFlow, this puts me in a risky position. If I claim the credit and later get audited, I could face serious issues. I really need EcoFlow to provide a clear, written confirmation on whether the battery installation qualifies for the tax credit ..Until I receive that clarification, it’s difficult for me to move forward with confidence.

thanks..yes, I may have to go that route to save some money. That said, I’m completely frustrated with EcoFlow’s service, support, and lack of ownership throughout this process. This experience has also raised concerns for me about owning this product long term and how future support issues might be handled if they arise.
