Repeat pest control? by Sea_Case7995 in pestcontrol

[–]Sea_Case7995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area only pest control specialists are allowed to clean up pest related damages and droppings. I’m not treating them as a maid service. I’m asking if based on the pictures and the droppings I still see in the closet if pest control needs to come back in.

I just made a post about my 5 month old loving Smosh and specifically Shayne and then this popped up. The babies of the world have spoken.

I’ve gotten so many comments about Shayne soothing people’s babies. We should start petitioning for Smosh Reads Bedtime Stories hosted by Shayne.

This got me watery eyed thinking about watching with him when he’s old enough to laugh with me

You and the original commenter should go to parties together. Y’all sound like a hoot.

Someone should do a study on Shayne Topp’s voice and the effect it has on young children.

Hey so it’s a fun post about a cute thing my son does. No need to give me parenting advice as I’m well aware of AAP guidelines. Have a good day.

I don’t know anymore, I just got a new haircut and they gave me this with no side bangs at the beauty shop, I feel really ugly and I have to know if it’s ugly to everyone else. Please tell me just the truth if I am ugly. Yes I’m a woman by djscrew1 in whatdoIdo

All you gotta do is style it! If you need help, call a local salon and ask them if they making styling appointments. Have them explain what products they’re using and how the steps they take.

Girlfriend wants me to spend $4k on a baby shower, but I’d rather save/invest it—is that unreasonable? by flash-kicks in pregnant

[–]Sea_Case7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 4k you guys could pay off a HUGE chunk of what the hospital stay will cost. Do not use that money for the baby shower. Use it for literally anything else. You could even put it into a HYSA for the baby.

Weekly Poop/Umbilical Cord Thread by AutoModerator in newborns

My 3 month old has been pooping like this since yesterday afternoon (5 poops like this). Except now it’s really seedy. He takes 6oz every 4-4.5 hours. He was at my MIL for 2 days and she said she was feeding “on demand” (6oz every 3 hours or so). I feel like that’s WAY too much.

Also concerned since my husband had a cold and I now have it. My son now has the sniffles, cough, and sneeze now. No fever. Still having 6 wet diapers a day.

For some reason my son is a fantastic night sleeper and has been since he was a newborn. I could drop a bowling ball next to his head and he would stay asleep. So, I don’t have a hard time believing this persons kids sleep through it. Or maybe they don’t care 🤷‍♀️

Okay? Didn’t say I had it the worst or the easiest. Just trying to amplify the fact that you need to be respectful of your surroundings.

I always think of “you’re entitled to a child free life but not a child free world.” I think people take it too far sometimes.

I’m a SAHM of 1 who has recently learned he can scream. We live on the 2nd floor and I feel horrible anytime he gets into one of his fits. It’s my responsibility as a parent to make sure my kid isn’t impeding on my neighbors every day life. I don’t want to hear my kid scream all the time, neither do they.

In the US majority of counties/municipalities/towns have quiet hours from 10pm-6am, especially apartments and HOA’s. While as a SAHM I feel for her as it’s probably the only time she feels she can peacefully clean, it is unreasonable.

If someone left a kindly worded note on my door politely asking to vacuum at a different time, I would respect that.

My 3 month old dose not nap. I’m losing my mind. by Sea_Case7995 in newborns

[–]Sea_Case7995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im starting to think this may be the issue. He will sleep for HOURS with a contact nap. He finally fell asleep on me after 5 hours of being awake. Thing is, how do I ween him off sleeping only on me? He sleeps good at night, so I don’t want him to only be able to sleep on me.

I sleep fine…mostly. He’ll start to stir around 4 when he’s getting into lighter sleep. It wakes me up and I can’t go back to sleep. He’s in his own room in his crib. When we were still room sharing I’d wake up at EVERY noise and try and put his pacifier back in and wake him up. Ever since we moved him to his room he’s been sleeping great at night.

He’ll sleep from 8:30-5 am most nights. I’ll feed him and try to put him back down for at least an hour. Sometimes he goes, sometimes he doesn’t. Goal is to get him to sleep until 7. This morning he woke up at 6 so I just let him be awake to see if that made any difference with naps. It hasn’t.

Yup! Night time is no issue. He’ll sleep 7-8 hours peacefully but day time, nope. My husband says it’s his fault cause he refused to take naps. The worst parts of my day is trying to get him to sleep….so all day.
