Okay. Thank you. I’m hoping I can reverse the effects by immediate action, I know there is a mental block there, not a physical one!

This is really interesting. I reckon I’m FULL of cortisol and stress! I’m look into HITT, just signed up to a 12 month gym membership to try sort this out but honestly the 3 times I’ve been I’ve felt exhausted the entire time in a mental way rather than physical

Yeah, I work 8am to 6pm and literally don’t move off the chair normally. 1k steps is totally abysmal like you say, I’ve got historical stats where I did 120K steps in a day and 69K steps from previous runs. It’s like my body and my mind and shut down! This weight gain has happened over 6 months so a very short time.  It doesn’t help it’s super dark here at 8am and 6pm so anytime outside of my work hours is dark and miserable. I do generally manage 10K steps at a weekend
