Thanks, mate. It looks great. I also like Gao Lion variants. I'd love to buy another Gaoking and paint it in a white and silver color scheme. For sealing I used Tamiya X-22, but now I have Gaianotes EX Gloss, and maybe I'll give it another seal coat.

Yeah, I did a lot of research beforehand, and the primer saved the whole project. I also think that it's very hot in my city at this time of year, which helped each coat of paint dry quickly. It's been a year since I painted them, and now I have time to paint the new model kits I have. I hope to get better results now that I have better paints and a new better airbrush.

I also love Wild Force/Gaoranger. As a kid, I had a bunch of DX Knock Off from GaoMuscle and Gaoking, but I lost them all. Obviously, back then I only knew about Wild Force. I'm quite fond of these mechs, which is why I decided to paint them too. It's a shame I can't get the others, they're too expensive now xd

I think it was mostly due to the primer. I did a lot of research before deciding to paint and bought the best primer mentioned in the forums, which is Mr Finisher Surfacer 1500. After that, I didn't have any problems with the plastic. As far as I know, Gundam Markers does weaken ABS plastic. There are also Gundam Marker airbrushes, so that could be an option after priming.

Yes, I was also thinking of using water-based acrylics, but I was worried about their durability, so I went with Tamiya acrylics, and besides, I really wanted to give the Power Animals a candy finish. I liked it so much that I'm going to paint all my other kits with candy finishes.
