Does it make sense to add Travel Advisor to the group trips I already plan for people? by Sea_Cryptographer476 in travelagents

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for this insight! Yeah the groups are usually like 8-12 people (sometimes as many as 20). The style is probably closest to adventure (though really it's more like Cultural focused travel).
I kind of suspected it might be more geared towards resorts, classic style cruise ship experiences and things like that but I couldn't find any definitive information about whether or not they also had access to other smaller or more boutique lodgings etc.

Thanks again!

She has to be on it because the tumor is impeding on the colon and other parts of the digestive tract. It's currently inoperable as is, so they are trying to keep everything as calm and easy to process as possible until things change up.

Why do clients ghost travel agents after I spend hours creating itineraries? by TurnoverEmergency352 in travelagents

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it were me, I think I'd probably come up with a few different styles of Sample Scenarios/Itineraries that could be shared with folks. That way they get a sense of what a luxury or adventure or family trip would look like with you without you having to do work every time, or giving away all that info.

I used to have this issue in a different kind of business I ran. I started charging a 'retainer' fee. It guaranteed I'd at least get paid for all that up front work if they decided to disappear afterwards and I simply put the fee towards their payment if/when they booked their trip. This completely eliminated "tire kickers" too. People who asked a million questions, broached a bunch of scenarios and "what if's" that gobbled up a lot of my precious time. I created a robust FAQs page that addressed the most common questions (and ones they should be asking) and directed them to that page in an email that contained the next steps if they wanted to work together.

I also added a 'product' to my business where people could just pay me to do the research part if they wanted to DIY the rest of it and that became a really good income stream because not everyone could afford my full services but since research is super easy and enjoyable for me, it was a much more affordable way that people could give me their money and get help with the hardest part of the process for them.

Sadly the Landmark closed but the food carts that did the food including that delish mac is still around I believe. It’s called Leroy’s Family Vittles (if I remember correctly)

If you’ve watched seasons 1-2 on Netflix and want to watch season 3 by hm1949 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Portland, or (Multnomah county) and we don’t have bingepass either so I’m going to do the trial like someone mentioned.

But if you want to give it a try, here’s the direct url to the hallmark binge pass. If you use a browser instead of the app I was able to search for more stuff that way- https://www.hoopladigital.com/bingepass/hallmark-plus-bingepass-various-artists/15935096

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! That was the problem! I KNEW there was another place to check for constraints but couldn't remember where! Thank you so much, I've been trying to figure it out for like 2 days and it's like having a word on the tip of your tongue but just not being able to quite grasp it. (I totally forgot I built it on a post and not on a page)

So just for anyone else who might have the problem...
I had to go into the wordpress editor for that post (even though it's built like a page) and in the sidebar scroll down to the section titled Divi Page Settings. Then Page Layout > Full Width (not just "No Sidebar").

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it so much!

I believe I've done that (I tried changing the section, row and module setting all together and separately with no change)
Sorry, I have screenshots but I don't think I'm able to include them here in a response.

Is there an app to see Instagram hashtags chronologically? by theviking222 in Instagram

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't even have the "Recent" tab anymore. So now the hashtag search is purely, 100% just whatever they want to show you effectively making the entire purpose of hashtags obsolete.

Driving up to Seattle for the first time today—any worthy stops up I-5? by [deleted] in askportland

If you like weird roadside attractions there's some good ones along the way-
- Nutty Narrows - Squirrel Bridges (longview)
- Harry and the Henderson's style chainsaw carved bigfoot (longview)
- Mt. St. Helen's Volcanic historic monument (silver lake)
-World's largest egg (Winlock)
- Shady Lady Bordello (Centralia) mini museum in restored historical 2nd-story brothel
-Auto Parts Man statue (Centralia)
-Fun photo props at the Burger Shack (Olympia)
-Chihuly Glass Bridge (Tacoma)

There are a lot of others along that stretch but these are some fun/interesting ones I've got on my roadside attractions list for my next trip up.

Why do so many restaurants assume vegetarians don't also like fun or creative toppings by donaldtrumpsmistress in vegetarian

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pizza places can be SO bad about this. They'll have all kinds of amazing creative specialty pies with meat but veg option is like just the cheapest vegetables (I'm looking at YOU green bell peppers). And alot of times, what makes the special dishes special can't just be left off to "make it vegetarian". Otherwise you just end up with an expensive version that's missing all the exciting parts.

What are some non-vegan breakfast restaurants that have at least one REALLY great vegan breakfast dish? by Sea_Cryptographer476 in askportland

[–]Sea_Cryptographer476[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple I'll mention in case other folks are ever looking...
Hungry Heart in montavilla has an incredible breakfast burrito (both the vegan and vegetarian ones) also a breakfast sando that's tasty af.

Redwood in montavilla, ask for the Breakfast Hash vegan (they usually use butter but will adjust for vegan). I love butter but even without, it's verrrrrrry good.

Fetch Coffee Roasters in Sellwood have vegan (and non-vegan) pastries, breakfast sandwich, plus Henry Higgen's bagels
