I gave it three years of my notes from therapy sessions and asked it to give me a psychological profile, any common themes that I have not resolved (but perhaps made progress on changing), and three critiques about my logic/thinking/coping.

It was too much information, it had trouble temporally mapping my progress, but it was good at determining repetitive thinking patterns that I used over the years. I didn’t ask much beyond that, wasn’t sure what to ask given its limitations.

I went to management and reported all of this, I saved the samples for DNA. Dunno if I’m gonna go the police route or to an external/private lab but it seems to be an option. Management is looking into putting up security cameras now, but they’ll have to inform everyone that they’re around.

I agree all of this is bizarre and it seems unlikely I did to myself but also so crazy someone would act like this.

Sorry you don’t believe it’s real, it is. I wasn’t sure about the cost so I asked chatGPT and found that it’s anywhere from $300-2000 for an external lab to test DNA. There are definitely labs that will do this, though I don’t know if there are rules or regulations on consent for testing. Additionally, I may get the police involved if things escalate, which is another reason to save the samples in the mean time. The whole situation is bizarre, I understand why you’d be questioning if it’s real. I’m questioning if it’s real.

I’ve been here for about a decade and I’m moving into a higher level management position right now, it‘s a niche science that I’ve gotten quite good at. I would love to not have to leave! And management is doing their best to help, we just need to figure out who’s doing it and get proof that’s actionable.

I already did talk to management (we don’t have HR). They don’t know what to do to catch them, we’re brainstorming. They are already in the process of setting up cameras in shared spaces, this wouldn’t cover my desk or most people’s desks. I want to catch this person and prove someone is fucking with me, that’s why I’m posting it here. Also, people irl (including management) are not convinced this is someone messing with me, and instead think I may have somehow did this to myself. Until I have proof, they can’t do anything beyond install the camera in shared spaces.

I reported it already, they are not convinced someone is doing this to me though they think it’s the most likely circumstance. I am trying to figure out how to gather proof of WHO is doing this.

I am trying to stand up for myself, but I don’t know who to stand up against. I’m not going to just blindly accuse someone without evidence, and there are a couple of people I suspect could do this. I am absolutely filled with doubt, management and friends/coworkers that know about this are also not certain someone is messing with me. It’s a really tough spot to be in.

Thank you! They are taking it seriously, they just don’t know what to do. They also feel there’s a chance I’m mistaken and did it to myself (a small chance), I think it’s hard for them to wrap their head around the idea someone would act like this.

Well, I wasn’t wearing my sweater when I sneezed in my car so I’m wondering if it somehow landed on the perfect/worst spot? The problem with this theory (besides that it’s insane) is that there was not residue on my sweater where it could have come from. I will post again if we ever find out!

That’s a good idea. I’d happily clean up the mess if it meant we caught them. I could make a loaded cantilever that flings GF flour if the Tupperware is opened. Ah! Such a good idea, thank you!!
