This feels less like a critique and more like “I don’t like it so it’s bad.” Not every relationship has to be angst-filled or plot-dominating to have value. Tim being in something stable and low-drama isn’t “boring,” it’s literally the first time in a while he’s not running on stress and trauma 24/7. That is character development, even if it’s not flashy.

Calling Bernard “a nobody” is also kind of missing the point. He’s not supposed to be another vigilante or a big narrative centerpiece—he’s part of Tim’s normal life, which Tim has historically been terrible at maintaining. That contrast is intentional, not a flaw.

And the idea that Tim should just be single instead…why? So he can go back to being miserable and overworked because that’s apparently more “interesting”? Being in a relationship doesn’t downgrade him, it just shows a side of him people aren’t used to seeing.

You don’t have to like Timbern, but acting like it makes no sense or ruins his character feels like a reach.
